Frequently Asked Questions

Is VerseMotion free?

Yes. VerseMotion is free and runs entirely in your browser. No account, no watermark, no subscription.

Does VerseMotion upload my audio anywhere?

No. All processing happens locally in your browser. Your audio file never leaves your device.

Is there a file size limit?

There is no hard limit, but very large files (100+ MB) may be slow on low-memory devices. Most songs under 50 MB work without issues.

Which browsers are supported?

Chrome 90+, Firefox 88+, Safari 14+, and Edge 90+. WebCodecs export requires Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave) for best performance.

What export quality do I get?

VerseMotion exports H.264 MP4 at the resolution and frame rate you choose, up to 1080p60. Quality matches typical online video uploads (YouTube, TikTok, Reels).

Can I work offline?

Yes. Once the page has loaded, VerseMotion works fully offline. You can install it as a PWA on most browsers for a one-tap launch.

Does VerseMotion support TikTok and YouTube specs?

Yes. Pick the 9:16 aspect for TikTok and Reels, 16:9 for YouTube, and 1:1 for square Instagram posts. Templates are tuned for each platform.

Can I sync lyrics without typing each timestamp?

Yes. Tap the spacebar (or any key you bind) at the start of each lyric line while the song plays — VerseMotion records the timestamp automatically.

Does VerseMotion store my projects?

Projects are saved automatically to your browser's IndexedDB on the same device. They are not uploaded to a server. Clear your browser data to delete them.

Can I use copyrighted music?

VerseMotion is a tool — you are responsible for the content you upload. Use music you own, have licensed, or that is in the public domain.

Why are some templates better for certain genres?

Each template ships with a font, palette, and motion grammar tuned for a vibe. The Templates page tags each one with the genres it suits best.
